Q 1- How does your normal day begin?

I start the day with a quick walk along the country roads near Lahinch where I live, then it’s breakfast with the family. I grab a coffee and make the 10 second commute across the yard from my house to the office, where I start by checking emails.

Q 2- What are your biggest daily challenges?

To stay focused on my priority list which is ever growing and manage home schooling!

Q3- What do you love most about your job?

I love the variety of work I get; from the buzz of working on TV productions to creating media campaigns that get national or international coverage.  I am working with the Burren Ecotourism Network at the moment – it’s fantastic to work with such a diverse range of businesses and there is never a dull moment!

Q 4- What do you do to relax?

I love walking, reading, listening to music and podcasts and spending time with my family. Walking on Lahinch beach a few times a week has been a tonic during lockdown.

Q 5-Favourite staycation destination in Ireland and why?

Malin Head in County Donegal; it’s where I spent my childhood summers and I now bring my two boys there. It’s wild, rugged and beautiful.

Q 6-Favourite holiday destination worldwide?

New Zealand – I spent three months there while on a two year trip travelling around the world and the scenery blew me away. Also camping in France with my family. I love the food, the culture and the outdoor activities.

Q 7-Favourite Business motto?

“It always seems impossible until it’s done”. Nelson Mandela (I was privileged to meet him while working in London, 20 years ago).

Q 8. Advice for young business entrepreneurs.

Persevere, make good connections and find a mentor who can help you. Never be afraid to ask for help.
