Tom is a former communications professional who worked in the FIA Formula E Championship, he is passionate about fighting the climate crisis and promoting sustainable living.

Q 1- How does your normal day begin? 

I start the day reading news from a wide range of sources, focusing specifically on the environmental, climate crisis and EV news to identify emerging stories – this is crucial for issuing timely responses to misinformation about electric vehicles in the media

Q 2- What are your biggest daily challenges?

 Challenging ingrained misconceptions about electric vehicles in the press and on social media – the connection between cars and the climate crisis is still overlooked and misunderstood but is crucial to lowering emissions

Q3- What do you love most about your job? 

There’s always more to learn – and the more I research, the more I can share with people. Getting feedback from people who have found my articles helpful and who are inspired to live more sustainably always makes my day

Q 4- What do you do to relax?  

Photography is my secret passion. There is nothing more relaxing for me than a day spent hiking and photographing Ireland’s stunning landscape while listening to comedy podcasts

Q 5-Favourite staycation destination in Ireland and why?

 It has to be Connemara. I could never get bored of photographing such a diverse landscape, and there are some incredible surf spots to be found too. Ireland is still underrated as a surf destination.

Q 6-Favourite holiday destination worldwide?

 The Cyclades islands in Greece for their warm hospitality, great food and drink, endless sun, brilliant beaches and stunning sunsets
