Music lovers in Wexford are in for a special evening this May as the internationally celebrated Johns’ Boys Welsh Male Voice Choir bring their distinctive sound to the town as part of its 10th anniversary tour.
The choir will perform in Wexford on Saturday, 30 May, promising an uplifting night of powerful harmony, musical theatre favourites, pop classics and traditional Welsh songs that have delighted audiences around the world.
Founded and conducted by Aled Phillips, John’s Boys have become one of the most exciting male voice choirs performing today. In recent years, they have achieved remarkable success, becoming the first British male voice choir to win the prestigious Choir of the World title at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod.
The choir’s popularity has grown rapidly following appearances on Britain’s Got Talent, where their performances captured the hearts of viewers across the UK and beyond. They have since gone on to perform at some of the country’s most iconic venues and events, including the Royal Variety Performance.
Known for combining the rich tradition of Welsh male voice singing with modern arrangements and thrilling performances, the choir has built a loyal international following and continues to attract new audiences wherever it performs.
Their Wexford concert forms part of a major tour celebrating ten years since the choir was formed, and audiences can expect an evening of stirring music, warmth and entertainment.
