So What’s involved?
10 of the counties best chefs to go head to head.
Cooking a 5-course meal to pay homage to our artisan regional produce.
Each chef will battle it out on their chosen course,
The 5 winning 5 chefs on the night will go on to represent their County of Work/Origin in the County final’s, where it will be team against team, County against County, Chef versus Chef

2nd Round Plant based
3rd Round Fish Course
4th Round Meat Dish
5th Round Classical Desert
Dishes will be judged by score cards after each dish by diners on the Night giving 50%of the vote , Two external judges from the food industry will have a 50% vote
Scoring will be based on, regionalism, seasonality, taste, presentation and creativity, most importantly did it bring a smile to your face!
Each chef will be joined by a commis chef so he can mentor and continue to train the next generation, giving back to the industry.
It’s a promotion of our fantastic culinary heritage here in Kerry with amazing chefs championing our fantastic regional food and highlighting true community spirit ,the craic will be surly had
Our food producers will be on hand to mingle with our diners and as the chefs are cooking in the dining room there will be no shortage of banter, fun filled evening with the best food in the county being served with an amazing buzzing vibe and of course funky music rolled into one to make for a jam packed night full of craic and festivities

There will be serious pressure on the launch night with captains from visiting counties coming down to look at the competition! the rivalry is real
Once the Prelims are completed we will then Kick off for a Semi-Final in The Glen Eagle Hotel and the Final to be held in March to be decided in Thomond Park the home of Munster Rugby
No better place for a final than on the magical grounds of Thomond Park.
