: Take a tour of the splendid parochial house where you can relax on Fr. Jack’s armchair, play Buckaroo on the dining room table or take the opportunity to kick our amazing life-size model of Bishop Brennan up the arse (extra charge for official photo). Afterwards, why not relax in Mrs Doyle’s tea room and enjoy some freshly made lovely sandwiches.
Join the local nuns in the church where you can experience nice long sermons every morning of the week not just on Sundays.
Why not enjoy some retail therapy at John and Mary’s shop where who knows you may just witness one of their many “tiffs”.
New for this year: ride along with Pat Mustard on his milk float as he does his rounds taking in the “hidden” Craggy Island and also hopefully get to meet a few of Pats many satisfied customers. Pre-booking recommended, email Pat at : patsbigtool@craggy.com
: Visit the Holy Stone of Clanrickard , the islands only holy relic which is soon to be upgraded to a category one heritage site. Marvel at its stony grandeur and its splendid bog side setting as the ancient Craggy monks did for many centuries.
: Take the 15 minute boat trip to Rugged Island where a hearty welcome from Father Dick is always assured. (weather dependant).
: Attend the lovely girl competition in the parochial hall where a bevy of the islands beauties strut their stuff in front of both locals, tourists and priests alike.
: Visit the actual fields that “my lovely horse” once ran through with a man on his back. It was here where Ted and Dougal were inspired to pen the multi award winning Eurovision winning song and of course where the iconic video was shot.
: Ladies why not attend a ladies only mid-summer Eoin Mc Duff concert , hats, handbags and housecoats essential for this one.
: Visit the actual annual Ted fest, I hear it’s great craic.
