Now, Kenmare’s leading Townhouse hotel settles into a new era of ownership offering bright and airy bedrooms such as Bowood and Dereen Suites, spacious luxury and charm. Unveiling a fresh menu offering for couples, corporate and celebrations alike which includes Shelburne Street Restaurant overlooking the iconic Park Hotel, Poet’s Bar showcasing the finest mixologists cocktails, covered heated terrace and our Georgian café.

Home to warm colours, bold art, and decadent detail, the lobby of The Lansdowne Kenmare is warm and inviting with an open fire and a welcoming team. On arrival, guests are greeted with art from Honora O’Neill, handcrafted parquet wood flooring and crystal chandeliers, leading you into the Georgian room where breakfast, brunch and lunch are served, you will be immediately struck by the handcrafted solid teak and copper bar – designed and created by Irish furniture makers Joop & Adrian Dynn topped with sweeping marble top by local craftsman Tim O’Connell. You will see these specially designed pieces throughout The Lansdowne Kenmare, complimenting the age, heritage and history of the building.

Designed to bring guests on a journey through the hotel, taking in it’s rich and personal history. Stressing its Townhouse origins, The Lansdowne Kenmare with its personalised attention to detail that also offers focal point for the community with Poetry and Book readings, cocktail evenings are all part of the experience while the Georgian spaces offer Classical Afternoon Teas.
