This September, five-star Sheen Falls Lodge in Kenmare, County Kerry, invites guests to experience a special event with an Art Appreciation Dinner, held in celebration of one of Ireland’s leading galleries Gormleys’ first-ever exhibition in Kerry. Taking place on Tuesday, 16 September, this special evening brings together world-class art, acclaimed Irish talent, and award-winning dining.
The event will celebrate Gormleys at Sheen Falls Lodge, a month-long exhibition that will run from 14 September to 12 October. Set across the estate’s private 300-acre grounds between the Sheen River and Kenmare Bay, the exhibition features life-size outdoor sculptures and striking indoor works from international icons Andy Warhol, Salvador Dalí, and Patrick Rubinstein, as well as celebrated Irish artists.
The exhibition will also showcase a new sculpture collection by Kerry native Liam O’Neill, known for his expressive works inspired by the Irish landscape and spirit.
The Art Appreciation Dinner will begin with a welcome drinks’ reception, followed by a guided tour of the new exhibition across the hotel and estate grounds. Guests will then enjoy an exclusive artist conversation with Liam O’Neill, John Redmond, and Jenny Belton, offering personal insights into their creative process and newly unveiled works.
The evening concludes with a refined three-course dinner accompanied by expertly paired wines. Designed by Executive Chef Mark Treacy, the menu will reflect his commitment to seasonal, sustainable Irish produce, expressed through classical technique and contemporary flair.
