The TV crew filmed at numerous locations, including Doolin and an Irish folk music session in McGann’s Pub, the Cliffs of Moher and Hazel Mountain Chocolate in County Clare. In County Galway, they filmed Dunguaire Castle, Micil Distillery, the Connemara ponies at Diamond’s Equine Renvyle, Kylemore Abbey, The Irish Dance Experience with Siobhan Manson (former lead dancer with Riverdance) and a sheepdog demonstration at Killary Sheep Farm. Their programme also included County Mayo and a walk with Irish Wolfhounds along Bertra Beach, Achill Island and Westport House.

Nadine Lehmann, Tourism Ireland’s Manager Germany, said: “We were delighted to invite the crew from ‘Wunderschön’ to come and film on our beautiful island. It’s a wonderful opportunity to showcase the landscapes, experiences and characters which make Ireland and the Wild Atlantic Way such a great place to visit. Our aim is to inspire viewers of the show to come and experience Ireland for themselves.

“Publicity and broadcasts like this are a key element of Tourism Ireland’s programme of activity to inspire travellers about what Ireland has to offer for a holiday in 2025 and beyond.”
