8th April – 30th June 2026Our new exhibition explores the story of Irish migrants in England over the past 200 years, highlighting their struggles, contributions, and rich cultural legacy. Based on landmark research from the Department of Economic History at LSE, this exhibition combines big data insights with the voices and music of Irish migrants captured in Philip Donnellan’s 1965 film The Irishmen, in collaboration with the Irish Film Institute.

Join award-winning novelist Christine Dwyer Hickey as part of our Éire to Everywhere: Stories Without Borders series. Christine will discuss her novel Our London Lives, followed by a Q&A and book signing.

  • Ticket holders should arrive by 5:20pm at the Visitor Information desk in CHQ to be escorted to the event.

Brand New Kids Audio Tour
Launching just in time for Easter, our new Kids Tour brings history to life for younger visitors. Join Annie Moore, one of the first emigrants to arrive at Ellis Island in 1892, as she guides children through EPIC to explore myths, music, games, inventions, and family stories. Interactive moments in every gallery allow little explorers to look closely, try things out, and discover how stories travel across lands and generations.
The tour is available via our audio guides or a scannable QR code on arrival.
