“A day in the life of” Michael Londra

Q 1- How does your normal day begin?

Up at 6 am every morning with the dogs. They decide when and how my day starts. A pot of coffee and I am at my desk early as I am a bit of a workhorse. One of these days I will stop to smell the roses.

Q 2- What are your biggest daily challenges?

Trying to get to everything. My biggest problem is that I am a control freak so delegation isn’t my strongest suit. I present as laid back but that probably isn’t the case.

Q3- What do you love most about your job?

I don’t feel like I have had a job for 20 years as I live for what I do. Making Ireland with Michael is a passion project and I hope to be doing this for a long time. I still sing but going on tour isn’t a job either. I realise how lucky I am.

Q 4- What do you do to relax?

I like great dinners with good friends and the best wine. The good friends part is essential but come to think of it, the wine has to be good, too.

Q 5-Favourite staycation destination in Ireland and why?

Depends on the season. It is hard to beat the Wexford coast in the summer. A morning trip to Curracloe beach before the crowds arrive or a walk on Kilmore Quay harbour with a bag of chips. End it all with a pint in Simon Lamberts in Wexford town. Bliss.

Q 6-Favourite holiday destination worldwide?

So many places; Cambodia, Bali(the quiet part), Bora Bora, Paris, Hong Kong. I like adventure so the further the better.

Q 7-Favourite Business motto?

I don’t feel like I am in business. I just do what I do.

Q 8. Advice for young business entrepreneurs

Jump in. Do it. It’s ok to be afraid. Just do it.
