A Day in the Life of Kady O Connell

Q 1- How does your normal day begin?

I’m in Ireland for the next little while, so my day begins at 5 am with calls to Australia and I do calls with my team and clients until 9 am. After this, I take a break to practice Kundalini yoga and make breakfast. I’m living on soda bread while I’m back and can’t get enough of Irish baking! Then I go into the office in Grafton St where I can get some focused work done.

Q 2- What are your biggest daily challenges?

Right now we are rebranding and launching a new website in the next few weeks so it’s been a huge undertaking to do this alongside our own client work. We have also onboarded 3 new team members in the past three months so training is a big focus right now!

Q3- What do you love most about your job?

I love that we get to work with such a diverse mix of entrepreneurs. We essentially become an extension of their business and partner with them to help them grow their brand. I find this so exciting and love getting insights into how people do things. I love problem-solving so this keeps things exciting with new challenges all the time.

Q 4- What do you do to relax?

I love to swim in the ocean, cook, practice yoga and kundalini breathwork to calm my nervous system. And I also love a good book or podcast!

Q 5-Favourite staycation destination in Ireland and why?

I was in Galway recently and I just love the food, music, culture and buzz around the place. We ate in a beautiful restaurant called Ard Bia which was divine.

Q 6-Favourite holiday destination worldwide?

Mexico and Italy are my top two destinations of all time. Mainly for the food and good weather. (I’m a huge foodie if you haven’t noticed!)

Q 7-Favourite Business motto?

We are what we repeatedly do. Success, therefore, is not an act but a habit. Aristotle

Q 8. Advice for young business entrepreneurs

Back yourself and be relentlessly persistent in your pursuits. Your mindset is everything, work on that first.
