Tourism Ireland attended Britain & Ireland Marketplace (BIM) in London recently. BIM is an annual B2B workshop, organised by the European Tourism Association (ETOA) to showcase Great Britain and Ireland to tour operators and travel buyers from around the world. It involved a series of pre-scheduled, one-to-one appointments – providing a valuable opportunity for Tourism Ireland to meet, and do business with, the 200 international travel buyers in attendance.

Aisling McDermott, Tourism Ireland’s Head of Global Inbound, said: “We were delighted to take part in BIM once again this year. The format of pre-scheduled, one-to-one appointments provided a great opportunity to showcase Ireland to key international travel buyers, ensuring Ireland is ‘top of mind’ for them when programming and recommending destinations to their clients in 2024 and beyond. The event provided a great platform for us to inspire the buyers and spread the word about the many great things to see and do right around Ireland.”
