This summer, Guinness Storehouse is inviting people in through its doors for a curated and immersive programme of music, spoken word and visual art, taking place across all seven floors of the Storehouse. The experience is part of a year-long campaign, Alive in 25, marking the 25th anniversary of the Guinness Storehouse with an exciting calendar of cultural events, collaborations and community initiatives.
Alive with colour and contemporary art, award-winning Dublin-based artist Leah Hewson has transformed the building with bright and bold expressions of graphic art, making it a new experience for visitors to feast their eyes on!
For the second year running, the Brewing Talent series returns with a lineup of performances that celebrate the best of Irish creativity and artistry with captivating spoken word and contemporary folk to neo-Irish music. Taking place every Friday to Sunday from 11.30 am, the Arrol Suite will be transformed into the perfect setting to soak up the best of Irish talent such as singer-songwriter Shiv, psychedelic-pop duo Telekura and much more. Running until August 29th, the Brewing Talent series is included with all Guinness Storehouse Experience tickets from €26, making it a lovely day for a visit! What’s more, extended opening hours are now live for July to September, with last entry at 18:45.
For the early morning risers, Sunrise Yoga at the Guinness Storehouse continues to delight over the summer months. Take in incredible sunrise views in the Gravity Bar as Rachel Maher guides you through a 40-minute yoga class hosted in collaboration with In Our Shoes Walking Tours, supporting the local Dublin 8 community. The next Sunrise Yoga events will take place on August 20th and September 17th, from 7:40 am – 8:30 am, with tickets available soon from https://inourshoeswalkingtours.ie/book/. Tickets cost €10, with all proceeds reinvested into the community.
