~ Promoting Ireland to influential Scottish travel professionals ~

Ireland was promoted to around 25 top Scottish tour operators and travel agents in Glasgow this week – at Tourism Ireland’s ‘A Taste of Ireland Networking Event’.

Seven tourism companies from Ireland took part in the B2B event, which involved presentations and networking, to inspire the Scottish travel professionals all about Ireland. The event provided a valuable opportunity for Tourism Ireland and its partners to remind the Scottish travel professionals about the many great things for their clients to see and do in Ireland – including our great food and drink experiences, rich heritage and superb visitor attractions.

Judith Cassidy, Tourism Ireland’s Acting Head of Great Britain, said: “Scotland is an important market for us, so we’re delighted to welcome so many key Scottish travel professionals to our ‘Taste of Ireland Networking Event’ in Glasgow. Events like this provide a valuable opportunity for our partners from Ireland to connect and network with travel professionals who have the potential to bring valuable tourists to Ireland, helping to build valuable relationships and secure a greater share of their business for 2025 and beyond.”
