Tourism Ireland hosted an event in New York this week ahead of St Patrick’s Day, bringing together 15 tourism companies from across Ireland to meet with influential travel professionals from the tri-state area.

The event, which took place at the Rockefeller Centre, provided an opportunity for the participating partners from Ireland to promote and sell their products and services to leading US travel professionals. It featured a golf simulation experience allowing attendees to virtually play iconic Irish championship courses, including Royal Portrush Golf Club and Adare Manor.

Alison Metcalfe, Tourism Ireland’s Head of North America, said: “We were delighted to be joined by 15 tourism businesses from across Ireland in New York this week to meet with influential US travel professionals. The event provided a valuable platform to showcase Ireland’s world-class infrastructure, unique and luxurious accommodation, state-of-the-art venues, spectacular landscapes and fantastic hospitality – which make Ireland an ideal destination for meetings, incentive travel and events of all sizes.”
