Autumn experiences at Burtown House & Gardens, Co. Kildare

Thinking of escaping to a country estate this Autumn for cosy fires, woodland walks, and candle-lit dinners?

The 18th-century Burtown House & Gardens near Athy in Co. Kildare is only 45 minutes from Dublin, 25 minutes from Kilkenny and 50 minutes from Waterford. We offer the perfect base to savour open fires in the Stable Yard Accommodation and leisurely walks across our 160-acre farm, woodlands, and wildflower meadows. There are cattle, donkeys, hens, and dogs on the estate, so you are sure to enjoy the full country estate experience!

In addition, in our award-winning Green Barn Restaurant, our new head chef, Sylvian Costrowa, who has worked in Michelin-starred restaurants from Paris to Dublin, has produced creative, tasty seasonal menus to delight all palates. We pride ourselves on our farm-to-fork philosophy with much of our food coming straight from our organic walled garden.

Our packages include accommodation, brunch and/or a three-course meal in the Green Barn Restaurant.  For more information, please enquire below.
