The event is led by the Irish Family History Centre,  based at EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum in the chq building, with acclaimed genealogist Fiona Fitzsimons guiding attendees through the first steps of tracing ancestry. About the Speaker
Fiona Fitzsimons is one of Ireland’s most respected genealogists, with an impressive career spanning decades. She has researched the family trees of world figures including Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Bruce Springsteen. Alongside her work with the Irish Family History Centre, she teaches a two-year Family History course at Trinity College Dublin and contributes regularly to History Ireland and Irish Lives Remembered magazines.
