Fáilte Ireland connects tourism businesses with leisure and luxury travel operators to boost competitiveness

This week, over 40 Dublin-based leisure and luxury accommodation, attractions and activity providers, gathered at Fáilte Ireland’s workshop at the College Green Hotel to pitch for business at one-to-one meetings with a group of 28 Irish tour operators and Destination Management Companies. Fáilte Ireland will today host the first in a series of four targeted workshops to support Irish tourism businesses in securing high-value leisure and luxury travel contracts. The workshops are part of a targeted sales drive by Fáilte Ireland allowing Irish tourism businesses to pitch directly to 28 top Irish luxury and leisure tour operators and destination management companies for future business.

The first workshop takes place today at the College Green Hotel, Dublin, bringing a total of 160 accommodation providers and experience operators from across Ireland face to face with these influential luxury and leisure operators. Over the course of the week, further workshops will be held in Killaloe, Cashel and Tralee, with participants engaging in more than 2,800 one-to-one meetings by the end of the week.

In addition to the formal meetings, operators will visit each region to gain direct insight into the experiences available to their clients.

These workshops form part of Fáilte Ireland’s wider strategy to support tourism businesses in developing commercially viable partnerships and securing future bookings for the 2026 travel season and beyond.

Speaking at the event, Paul Mockler, Head of Commercial Development at Fáilte Ireland, said:

“By facilitating direct engagement between tourism businesses and key operators in the luxury and leisure travel market, we are helping enterprises across Ireland to compete more effectively and grow their commercial potential. These workshops are a practical step in supporting the sector to deliver high-quality experiences that can drive long-term growth for Ireland’s tourism sector.”
