~ 630,000+ Nordic holidaymakers to read all about Kerry and Ireland ~
19th June 2024 – Travel journalists from Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland have been visiting County Kerry, as guests of Tourism Ireland and Fáilte Ireland.
The journalists – who have a combined audience of over 630,000 readers across the Nordic countries – are here to experience our spectacular scenery, rich culture and heritage, as well as our fantastic food offering. They’re also finding out about environmentally friendly initiatives, including the introduction of the Killarney Coffee Cup Project last summer, which saw Killarney become the first town in Ireland to phase out single-use coffee cups. The articles and content the journalists produce will inspire their followers and readers to put Kerry and Ireland on their holiday ‘wish-list’.

Emer Mac Diarmada, Tourism Ireland’s Manager for the Nordic Region, said: “Tourism Ireland was delighted to invite this group of influential Nordic travel journalists to visit Kerry and Ireland, to experience at first-hand some of the superb experiences on offer for Nordic holidaymakers. Through the articles and content they produce, the journalists will inspire their readers and followers to come and experience our beautiful scenery and great outdoor activities for themselves.“Tourism Ireland undertakes a busy publicity programme around the world each year to raise the profile of the island of Ireland – and visits by influential travel writers like these are a key element of that programme.”
