Ireland’s world-class golf and superb luxury tourism offering was promoted to top German tour operators this week – at Tourism Ireland’s first ever golf and luxury workshop in Frankfurt.

Twelve (12) golf and luxury tourism businesses from Ireland connected with the German tour operators during a series of one-to-one meetings and networking sessions – which provided a valuable opportunity for the businesses from Ireland to showcase and sell their products and services and help secure a greater share of the tour operators’ future business.

Nadine Lehmann, Tourism Ireland’s Manager Germany, said: “We were delighted that these key German tour operators took the time to come and meet with our golf and luxury partners from Ireland in Frankfurt this week. Our aim was to highlight our world-class golf and superb luxury tourism offering to the influential German tour operators and to help secure a greater share of their business in 2024 and beyond.”

Germany is the third-largest source of visitors to the island of Ireland and one of the largest outbound travel markets in the world.
