Randles Hotel Killarney was the venue for the September board meeting of Tourism Ireland, which took place today (Thursday, 19 September). The board members took the opportunity to meet with representatives of the local tourism industry, to discuss overseas tourism to Ireland this year and the extensive promotional programme that Tourism Ireland is undertaking to highlight Kerry, the Wild Atlantic Way and Ireland around the world in 2024.

Tourism Ireland regularly highlights Kerry to its 6+ million social media followers, sharing compelling content—stunning images and videos—on its platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

Working with influential travel, lifestyle and special interest media is also an important element of Tourism Ireland’s overseas promotional programme. In 2023, Tourism Ireland generated positive publicity in international media outlets for Kerry with a reach of 259 million.
