Ireland was promoted to more than 35 top Scottish tour operators and travel agents in Glasgow this week – at Tourism Ireland’s new ‘A Taste of Ireland Networking Event’.

Six (6) tourism companies from Ireland took part in the B2B event, which involved presentations and networking to inspire the Scottish travel professionals in attendance all about Ireland. The event provided a valuable opportunity for Tourism Ireland and its partners to remind the Scottish travel professionals about the many great things for their clients to see and do in Ireland – including our great food and drink experiences, rich heritage and superb visitor attractions.

Julie Wakley, Tourism Ireland’s Head of Great Britain, said: “We’re delighted that so many key Scottish travel professionals have taken the time to come and meet with our partners from Ireland in Glasgow, to find out more about the many great things to see and do here – including our great food and drink offering and experiences. Our aim is to connect our partners from Ireland with the influential Scottish tour operators and travel agents, who bring valuable tourists to Ireland.”
