A serial entrepreneur, Rani started her first business at the age of 25. Despite terrible timing – she incorporated the company just as a global recession hit – she managed to bootstrap the business to five revenue streams and an international customer base, before eventually selling the business in 2018.
Rani served as Director with the World Trade Centre in Dublin, working to develop FDI and International Trade. She currently co-owns four businesses and invests in startups and scaling businesses. She sits on the advisory council to UNICEF in Ireland and is a Senior Advisor to the Monaco Foundry. In a philanthropic capacity, she acts as a judge with the Misk Global, GSEA (EO), and Social Entrepreneurs Ireland. She’s a member of EO Ireland and a qualified executive coach.
On the weekends, you’ll find her playing with her kids, practising new Thai recipes, and continuously curating her seven closets of clothes. She loves to travel, hates the cold and finds it impossible to resist a Tayto sandwich.

Q 1- How does your normal day begin? –
I’m a super early riser so I start between 5 and 6 with a cup of Barry’s tea. The wise people in my life have learned not to speak to me before that cup of tea. After that – a walk or yoga. I love seeing the sunrise.
Q 2- What are your biggest daily challenges?
The cognitive load of working across four time zones drives me bonkers.
Q3- What do you love most about your job?
I learn something new every single day from some of the most incredible, accomplished and kind people in the world.
Q 4- What do you do to relax?
Go for a long walk at the beach with my kids. Ireland has some of the best – though coldest – beaches in the world.
Q 5-Favourite staycation destination in Ireland and why?
See above! Banna Beach, County Kerry. Such a quiet, clean, long beach. Never the same day twice.
Q 6-Favourite holiday destination worldwide?
Goa, India. I grew up in India and I love Goa for its spirituality. I get my yoga fix at an Ayurvedic treatment centre and my days revolve around trying all the amazing food. The beaches are gorgeous and the music scene is brilliant.
