Slow Cabins, a fresh look at how we travel and enjoy the outdoors

Slow Cabins is taking a fresh look at how we travel – one that revolves around slowing down and making spontaneous discoveries in ‘hidden gem’ locations in Ireland. As we’ve explored our 5km limit, our eyes have been opened to how much there is to discover and learn, right on our doorsteps. The company was not designed with a pandemic in mind, but it’s apparent we are a pandemic-ready concept, well suited for a time when people are eager to find safe ways to get off Zoom and get outside.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We literally want you to come and do nothing other than reconnect with those around you, gaze at the stars and explore the authenticity and beauty of your natural surroundings. Every Slow Cabin is off-the-grid and so there are limited resources to play with- recognition of consumption is part of the experience and we think our guests will appreciate this.

A first Irish Slow Cabins location is expected to launch in 2021, but the company is actively looking to develop accommodation partnerships with other local rural attractions, farmers and landowners, especially those who offer a complimentary service or product with a unique story to tell.
