No day is ever the same in hospitality which is why our industry is such an exciting career choice, there are always challenges ranging from resourcing the property to dealing with general niggles, it’s a busy hotel with lots of moving parts so I am kept busy, in a good way!

Q3- What do you love most about your job?

Definitely, the people aspect, working with an amazing team of passionate individuals, looking after guests who arrive full of excitement and simply being part of these experiences, we really do get the chance to create unforgettable memories which is very special…

I adore great wine, have a real interest in winemaking and the stories behind unique viticulture and there is nothing more relaxing than enjoying a bold Bordeaux Blend whilst paging through a wine guide or two….…

Q 5-Favourite staycation destination in Ireland and why?

Has to be anywhere in Kerry…since arriving at Muckross, I genuinely fell in love with the mountains, lakes and stunning scenery, the Gap of Dunloe, for example, has to be one of the most Instagrammable places in Ireland.

Easy, Camps Bay, Cape Town and to be specific, staying at the Twelve Apostles Hotel…Table Mountain, the Sea and stunning wine, what more do you need in life…

I genuinely live by the words of Zig Ziglar “ You don’t build a business, you build people and then people build the business..”

Q 8. Advice for upcoming Hotel managers

Always remember that you are responsible for developing those around you and never be afraid to surround yourself with people that know more than you do.
