On the 31st of January in Galway the Virgin Media Gold Medal Business Awards 2023 took place at a glitzy awards ceremony in Galway and Mulranny Park Hotel were awarded the Gold Medal in the category of Best Family Friendly Hotel.
This is a huge national accolade for not only Mulranny but also for Mayo and the Clew Bay area.
The Gold Medal Awards in their 33rd year, are the industry leaders in hospitality awards and to even be in the shortlist is a wonderful achievement for Mulranny.
The hotel was also a finalist in Best Wedding Venue, Best Four Star Hotel and Best Front of House Team Member for Caroline McLaughlin Head Receptionist. The Award is really a recognition of the hard work and dedication of the wonderful team in the hotel who are specialists in looking after all families. Every property is subject to benchmarking against a strict set of criteria and a blind site visit conducted by the judging panel, before the winners are chosen.
Following the recent change of ownership and with the refurbishment of the hotel well underway and additional services such as our new Treatment Room and Seaweed Baths, the hotel is looking forward to another busy season and to welcoming everyone back to the Mulranny Park Hotel when it reopens on the 15th of February.
